Little Green Dresses

Our very own Laurel St. Romain and friend Sarah Cumming are featured in the new DIY design book by Tina Sparkles titled "Little Green Dresses." A copy of the book was sent to the factory last week and we were ecstatic to see one of our very own pieces, a rainbow colored headband (above) made it into the styling of the book! I Love Factory, has a special mention in the Acknowledgements too!!! The book is extremely well thought out, easy to follow and includes over fifty original patterns. We LOVE it!

For the past two years every evening I consistently receive my google alerts updates for I Love Factory. Along with the many blog postings and write ups featuring our work I get alerts for I Love Lucy's famed Chocolate Factory episode. We ALL know and love this epic TV moment in history so I figured why not do a tribute to Lucy and her fabulous style! Enjoy!

This weeks Fan Of The Week is the ever fabulous Pamela Villarreal! She looks absolutely stunning in that GORG red dress paired with her I Love Factory headpiece. Pamela wears the Camden from our Parklife Society Collection.

Pamela is a Culinary master having studied and performed the Culinary arts around the World. She currently resides in Austin, Texas a city that takes food seriously!

We LOVE her (maybe even more than we love food, if you can believe it!!!)

Evolution Continues On

The factory workers have been hard at work this Summer in preparation for Spring 2011 and the next I Love Factory Collection Presentation.

Creativity Has No Boundaries

Our hyper talented and creative friend Lindsay Jones has so many reasons to celebrate this week! We are so excited for the launch of the new Outlaws Of The Border website, her recent press write up by fashion journalist about town Colleen Nika for Vevant, and her recent video for one of our favorite sites Style Like U.

Lindsay has been hard at work on the new site for quite some time and it shows!!! Congrats Lindsay Jones! We love you!

Laurel and I were honored to design a custom headpiece and veil for Lauren's big day on Sunday June 27, 2010. Custom designed and created out of fabric taken from her dress this piece consisted of dual flowers and a bird cage veil.

Tied & Dyed

Special THANK YOU to our good friend Nicky Digital and Ella for allowing us to take over last night with our Tied & Dyed Theme party. Once again we joined forces with our baby strawberries and event planners extroidinaire We Came In Peace to throw another FABULOUS party.

Celebrate The Birthday Boo

This past weekend we celebrated Memorial Day in Long Island at the Garbushian residence. Christopher was so excited to see his family, and I was excited to get out of the city and eat all the fabulous food his Mom takes so much time to prepare.

Christopher's birthday is this Friday June 4th and his family celebrated by having a wonderful BBQ filled with all his favorite foods. His Mom even got him the most DELICIOUS custom strawberry shortcake! YUM!!
